A Lamborghini worth £250,000 has been seriously damaged after Hyundai mounted it on a junction in Leeds.

The Lamborghini Huracan was left with the Hyundai i40 resting on its bonnet after the crash at 10.24am on Thursday morning in West Yorkshire.

No one was seriously injured in the collision.

The front of the Lamborghini looked visibly deformed under the weight of the other car, and the bumper of the i40 was left hanging off.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “At 10.24am today, police were called to a road traffic collision involving a Lamborghini and a Hyundai at the junction of Whitehall Road and Dixon Lane in Leeds.

“There were no serious injuries."

Earlier this year, the driver of another Huracan smashed it into an office building in London.

Pictures showed the Lamborghini crumpled against the side of the retail unit in Shoreditch, east London, having shattered the windows of the building.

Witnesses reported hearing a "loud bang that sounded like an engine revving" before the crash.

A cordon was erected around the crash, while the front of the car was completely smashed up.

One witness told MyLondon: "It’s the side of the Fora Shoreditch building just off Great Eastern Street.

“I only heard it, but the guy was revving his engine then there was a loud bang, sounded a bit like the car backfired, but it’s clearly where he lost control and ditched it into the doors.”
